LSP ROVING SEMINAR-WORKSHOPS
To carry out its vision of helping upgrade English language education in the country, the Linguistic Society of the Philippines (LSP) collaborates with educational institutions through Roving Seminar-Workshops that are offered during the summer and semestral breaks. Each Roving Seminar-Workshop is LSP’s contribution to the professional development of teachers in the fields of Linguistics and Language Teaching.
TOPICS
The theme Innovative Strategies in English Language Teaching includes the following topics:
• Reading into writing
• Constructing tests for classroom use
• Academic writing
• Teaching oral communication skills
• The writing process
• Research in language education
• Teaching grammar creatively
Other seminar-workshops not listed above may be designed at the request of the participating school.
